The great wine of Portugal. Named after the King of Portugal who worked with the Baron Offley de Forrester and the Dona Antonio Adelaide Ferreira to secure proper growing conditions and terms of trade for the Portuguese Growers.
This wine is delicate, yet powerful with nutty fruits and a light tawny colour. Amgnificent with a tangy blue - Gorgonzola, Stilton or Roquefort are ideal. In a crisis, a Mainland blue will do very nicely.
